KLM Surprise

Hello y’all,

We’ve blogged about quite a few consumer collaboration type projects and I know that everytime I write something I say it’s the coolest thing ever, and this time I won’t say that, but I will say it’s the most genuine and kind of heartwarming project. Dutch airline KLM are running a super sweet campaign called KLM SURPRISE “an expriment on how to spread happiness”. They use Foursquare & Twitter to see when people check-in with KLM or are waiting for a flight, then they check the persons profile to know where they’re travelling to and get to know a little bit about them. After that they select a small travel size gift for the person and then run around the airport until they find the person to give it to them.

It’s a super cool and genuine way to interact with your consumer, understanding that travelling can be frustrating.
Check out more on their website or watch the video here :)
