Keeping Relevant

Today’s young consumer subscribes to brands that they believe are… “with it”. Brands that are… “in touch”. Brands smart enough to know that you don’t have to create the next big wave, you just have to catch one. The best way to measure a brand’s ability to be relevant is to see how quickly they can react to something that is current… effectively. A case in point… Windhoek. If you haven’t already seen this, where oh where have you been?

I think these Windhoek ads are so clever! Have you seen the one about Joost? Now that was hilarious! Talk about a brand being on the pulse of what is happening.

Sadly, it came out a few weeks ago that Windhoek was not responsible for this ad. Never-the-less, most people attributed the brand responsible for it. They got the kudos, without actually doing anything.
